Spectral scan is a custom feature, which allow scans of all the wireless signals including non 802.11 preambles . The frequency support will be based on the range of frequencies supported by the typical wireless card. The following features can be achieved with the effectiveness of spectral scan usage.

Spectrum Analyzer application can give details on magnitude of the energy detected at each of sub frequency in the range of frequencies supported by Wireless adapter.
